This is a great thing for you as the purchaser, but be sure to ask if the offer of this promise includes your legal fees? We not only go the extra mile to ensure you get the best price possible but we also reach in our pocket to pay for your legal costs!

I know everybody says that you shouldn't use the same solicitor as your agent... BUT... We use Mercedes Flores Miron 'cos she's the most honest one we know! If you're agreeable to use her, we pay all her fees even though she is working for you!!! Should you decide to use a different one, we'll give you €1,000 towards their fees. No obligations - just good sense & value you wont find anywhere else.

To set the records straight... Many moons ago, we found one of our properties featured on another estate agents list... using our photos! we were rightfully disgruntled and complained most strongly, giving said agent 30 minutes to remove our copy write photos from display. Said agent pleaded ignorance and told us it was Alison Venn Wycherley, one of his agents, who had supplied the photos and said photos were duly removed …Pronto!
Later, when the said Alison set up her own website, Champ (Chump?/Chimp!!) Properties, she again used our photos to advertise the property!!! Rather than go through the legal channels, I decided to point out - on this blog - that she'd done it again AND added €20,000 commission ON TOP of our price (inclusive of our meagre commission AND the legal fees!), even though she works from home and has no office or staff outgoings to pay.
Foolishly... the small one then decided to denounce me for publishing my blog and I was called in to the Guardia Civil station to answer to her "accusations". I made a statement, re-iterating the fact that she had stolen my photographs and was using them to try to steal my business; I left print outs and copies of said articles off her site with the Guardia. The self styled "Queen of Saliente" seemed to realise her mistake! After a flurry of activity, she changed her website photos... but too late! We (and the Guardia) already have the evidence!!!
Alison, you could still pop in with a written apology and settle out of court if you'd rather not face the legal consequences...
You might want to check your properties again as well... we've spotted several you're selling that are illegal!!!
Thanks to all our friends (and total strangers) who have lent their support in this matter - I never realised how popular (sic!) AVW is, rest assured - we won't let it drop without getting satisfaction..!

Oh dear, Oh dear, Oh dear!!! The Dumpy One (Alison V W) has cocked up royally!!! The photos are mine and we have the proof... If anyone can tell the difference between the photos (apart from the fact that hers are of a poorer quality!)... there's a cash prize waiting!!!
PS: Alison... if you want to settle out of court, pop in any time... OTHERWISE... prepare to be thrashed!!! - BRING IT ON!!!

We at Kevinspain love good food and we reckon you could do a lot worse than getting yourselves up to the monastry in Saliente.
Head chef Ramon knows how to knock up a very good plate of tucker and has organised for 'guest chefs' to do the odd night of fine dining. The next night to benifit from Ramon's roving chefs is the 31st of March. We hope to see you there!
Illegal Houses...
I would like to congratulate the Beeb for their programme 'Losing a home on the Costa del Scam' - it was an accurate portrayal of the property situation in Albox. It is unfortunate that the area has more than it's fair share of dodgy promotors/developers and thieving bast**d estate agents... all the more reason to pick the RIGHT estate agent!!! We are the ONLY agents in the area that have NEVER sold a property without an escritura (deeds), either knowingly or un-knowingly. ALL OUR PROPERTIES ARE CHECKED BEFORE BEING PUT ON THE MARKET... by a REAL solicitor.
The Bidet - how do you use yours?
In the already tiny bathrooms that we find in the new apartments in Spain, why do they insist on installing those bidets. Surely the space would be better made use of as a useful little cupboard when the absence of lofts, garages etc makes finding places to put things almost impossible.
I know that you are supposed clean your bits and your bottom in the bidet by habit just as you should wash your hands. However, it is so awkward to crouch so low down and start faffing about trying not to get your clothes wet and grabbing a towels, when a quick dry wipe with some Andrex will suffice.
